VBS Prep

 

Our Vacation Bible School starts on Sunday so we are busy prepping and getting everything set up.  Song posters on the walls and decorations.

 

So thankful for a couple of our teens who came out to help us. 

They helped with the woodwork and get the boat all set up.

 

This year our VBS theme is the Get on Board the Gospel Ship

and we will be learning about Herbert Grings. A wonderful missionary 

with a heart to serve God!

 

Since we live in a high mountain desert plain, where it is so dry

even with all the cold, our church lawn is full of cactus!  Since the kids will be playing games on the lawn, we methodically walked the lawn

and dug up all the cactus we found.

 

I was carrying little lady as we were looking for cactus and explaining what we were looking for.  "We are looking for cactus cause they are owies!" I told her.  She sweetly looked at me and said "Frogs!"  We have been frog hunting so much lately that she would have much preferred to be frogging! 

 

We have another busy day tomorrow as we try to get everything finished

and ready for our VBS week.  So excited to love on the kids

and watch God work in hearts and lives!
