As we look to beginning a new year tomorrow I wanted
to share my post from FaceBook with you.
My thoughts as we start a new year tomorrow.
John 7:24 - Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
We live a world where people say don't judge me but I want to say judge me! Not because I wear blue eyeshadow, haven't spade my cat yet, or because I hate coffee and tea but judge me according to the Bible. If what I say or do goes against the Bible and the Holy Word of God, judge me! If I post things that do not glorify God but follow the ungodliness of the world, judge me! If my life is not showing the mercy and the grace of God, judge me! If I am not loving all those around me, if I am angry and bitter more than kind and patient, judge me! If I am not faithful to God, the gospel and His church, judge me! I want 2017 to be year of tremendous spiritual growth for me and if I am falling or failing as I journey to be closer to my God and my Redeemer, tell me where you see me stumbling. Judgement is not always easy and it hurts when others point out your faults but if it's in line with God and His word, judge me! Judgement is not always about condemning another but helping them see where they are sinning against a Holy God, and I am nothing less than a sinner that needs to be judged according to the righteousness of God. Judge me!
