Pews!

When we got here 9 months ago the santuary was filled with these chairs.

My husband put a call into some of our friends back east and they found us pews and had them brought to us.  We were so happy to see this truck pull up to the church Monday.

What a wonderful ministry Brother Adams has helping churches,
finding things other churches are not in need of any more and passing them to small churches in need.  They brought us a steeple, pews, double doors for our new extension and Bibles.  We are praising God for this wonderful blessing!





The pews look great and we are so excited to see the sanctuary transformed.

They're Here!

Friday, we drove up to Chicago to pick up Chandler and Saraina from college.  After a quick turn around, we got home on Saturday and Sunday they were officially thrown into the ministry.  For Sunday School, Chandler taught the teens and Saraina taught the preschool class.  One of our Jr. Church teachers was gone this Sunday so they also taught that class during worship service.  After church Sunday night Chandler took over as choir director, and he did an amzing job!  Chandler and Saraina are both excited to train in the ministry here and are both looking forward to the busyness that comes with it and we are so happy
to have them here to help and also to spend time with them as they begin they're new lives together.

Finally Finished!

I started a quilt for Chandler and Saraina's wedding about three months ago.  Kinda just playing with it when I felt like it or had a little spare time.  Since we are going to pick the kids up from college this weekend I knew I had to get it done because I wouldn't get a chance to work on it with them here.  So for the past two days I have been working on it nonstop.  Tonight I finally finished it!

I made each square and then quilted each square
before stitching each quilted square together.  I think it turned out well and am praying that the kids love it!
